Reports indicate that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their iconic roles in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

Lawrence and Hutcherson are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. Speculation suggests their cameos will likely occur in a flash-forward sequence, considering the main film series concluded with their characters settled into family life.
